DIY customised Vans with artist Shelley Botticelli

Vans x Shelley de Brun

Shelley Botticelli will be at the Vans’ Auckland store to provide custom artwork

Unleash your creative side this weekend and join Auckland-based artist and illustrator Shelley Botticelli in a Vans collaboration to customise your own Vans shoes or tote bag.

The Queen Street (Auckland) Vans store will transform into a partial art gallery/workshop space teeming with colour and creativity, with Shelley in-store and on hand to provide custom artworks on tote bags for visitors to take away or create their own.

Shelley has also created flash sheets with unique designs that can be used not only on the tote bags but also any pair of shoes purchased in-store. Alternatively, all members of the public are invited to bring an old pair of Vans from home to be customised by Shelley, in-store.

The event takes place from 11am to 3pm this Saturday, 24 September at 200 Queen Street, Auckland CBD.

Shelley has also collaborated with Vans to create a beautiful custom tote bag that will be on display alongside the latest shoe release – the Vans ComfyCush.
